CHAPTER 15

PRAYER APPRECIATED
We would greatly appreciate your prayers during this time of waiting. After almost 8 years of asking God to grow our family, I think we are simply weary of waiting. We have seen Him do so much in us over the years and are thankful that they were by no means wasted.

SPECIFICS TO PRAY
The following are some specific ways I have been praying:

-That God would bring our child(ren) to us in time for us all to travel back to DC to spend Christmas with my family.

-That God would bring our child(ren) to us in time for them to be baptized before our church starts meeting in two separate locations.

-That both birthparents would be in the picture, making the decision together which home to place their child in.

-That the birthmom would be towards the end 0f her pregnancy rather than the beginning when they make their decision to place their child with us.

-That the birthparents might already know Christ. I realize this may seem like a strange thing to pray but I am.

Those of you that know me well, know that I tend to be pretty specific in my prayer requests. Part of that is because I have seen God answer such specific prayer requests many times. And let me tell you, that's pretty cool. Of course there have been specific things I have prayed for that have not come to pass but in God's providence, the ones that stand out in my mind are the ones that do.
